Jeep Training
Just a thought. It would appear as we have some down time before River Rock. I can't speak for all the members, but I for one have little experience in recovery and tips and tricks for not getting stuck and getting unstuck. I would also be interested in seeing winches work and get a better understanding of some of the equipment that I carry with me (Hi Lift Jack, etc).
What would be the thoughts of doing kind of a training day one weekend and doing some of this stuff? I for one would be interested and I know that we have a large experience base to draw from. I think I can find us a place to practice.

Ray City Show
There is going to be a car/truck show in Ray City Sat. Aug. 23rd from 5:00 to 8:00 PM. We have been invited as the Jeep club to bring our stuff and put on a show. I think this will be a wonderful way for us to get more public exposure.
Rick, the guy putting this together, and I are going to meet this coming Sat. to discuss details and trade ideas. I would like some other folks show up for this to give there input.
The main thing though is lets have a good turn out for the 23rd.
I will post details on this post once we finalize a meeting place for this Sat.
Hope to see everyone on the 23rd.

Club Meeting (BIG)
Dee and I are planning on making the meeting on Jan 5. We are also planning on making the Millledgeville trip in Jan. We should also discuss puting a 'sale, buy, swap,or trade' tread on our web page, I got stuff to list :-).
